Item Description
This dramatic gemstone is a Kenyan garnet, and it exhibits a bright mix of fiery reds and oranges. Most Kenyan garnets are much cooler in tone, leaning more purple-red than orange-red, which makes this an unusual example from Taita, Kenya. 2.32 carats - note a small chip on one edge, though no treatment on this, as most garnets don't benefit from standard treatments anyways!
