Item Description
This is an elongated oval of pale green oligoclase, a gemmy feldspar varietal. East Africa, and the Taita area of Kenya in particular, is known for the extremely wide range of gem material found there, from common species like beryl all the way to lesser known species, like gem feldspar. This is a balanced oval, nearly eye-clean, measuring 18mm long at 5.38 carats. No treatment.
