This robust pear cut has the classic and rich color of fine “rhodolite,” the varietal name for rose-pink to red gem pyrope. A very lively stone from Africa that is perfectly sized for a charming necklace or ring stone, at 2.31 carats in a finely balanced pear cut. (N)
