Item Description
Tourmaline's range of color-zoning is simply amazing, and among the most popular are the pink and green combinations called “watermelon tourmalines”. Many specimens of this type are horizontally cut and polished slices of gem crystals, but this stone was faceted in a parallelogram to show off the bicolor split of green and pink in a near-50/50 color split. A great complement to a "sliced pair” or to keep as a collectible gem for jewelry or a fine collection of beautiful gem oddities. Simply a fun and fascinating stone with exceptional polish and brilliance!
